My name is Andrea Coldiron and I am the middle school/college and career readiness counselor.  As a graduate of Raceland Worthington High School, I am blessed to be working for the BEST school district around!  It has been an amazing year of learning and student growth!

I have a Bachelor's degree from Morehead State University in Exercise Science and Health Promotions.  I received a Master's Degree from Morehead State in Middle School Education.  I also completed a second Master's Degree in School Counseling from University of the Cumberlands. I have had many roles at Raceland.  I began my teaching career at the Juvenile Detention Center, followed by Ashland Day Treatment.  I spent the next six years as a 6th grade teacher at Worthington Elementary.  The next three years, I taught 7th and 9th grade Social Studies at RWHS.  Last year, I was the counselor at East Carter Middle School. 

I truly enjoy coming to work every day and love what I do!  There are many wonderful parts of my job, but I can say that my favorite is getting to know all the students!  My hope is to build a trusting relationship so they can come to me with any issue, no matter how big or small.
