The R.A.M.S FRYSC is combine Family Resource & Youth Services Center and will serve both Campbell and Worthington Elementary Schools as well as Raceland-Worthington High School students and their families.

What are Family Resource & Youth Services Centers (FRYSC)?

FRYSC have been created as a part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA).  The intent of the centers is to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by assisting children.

Who can use a Family Resource & Youth Services Center?

Centers receive a state grant based on the number of students eligible for free school meals.  However, once a center has been established, all children and youth (and their families) enrolled in the school served by the center can use it’s services.  We at the R.A.M.S. Family Resource & Youth Services  Center do not hope but EXPECT every family in our district to visit our center because of the programs and activities we are planning.

FRYSC Vision

Kentucky’s Family Resource & Youth Services Centers shall establish the national standard of excellence in the provision of school-based family support.

FRYSC Program Mission

The Family Resource & Youth Services program mission is to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote:

  • Early learning and successful transition into school

  • Academic achievement and well-being

  • Graduation and transition into adult life
